Lucas Ellis

Senior Environmental Consultant

Originally from Kentucky, Lucas developed an appreciation for the environment growing up on a family farm. He has lived in Alaska for the past 20 years and brings nearly two decades of experience as a Marine Science Technician in the U.S. Coast Guard, along with six years as an Environmental Program Specialist for the Alaska Department of Environmental Conservation. Lucas holds bachelor’s degrees in Telecommunications (University of Kentucky) and International Studies (University of Alaska Anchorage). He has extensive experience with USCG and ADEC regulations, spill response oversight, and inspections at bulk fuel facilities. He holds a Part 107 Remote Pilot Certificate (sUAS) and is a two-time recipient of Alaska’s Coast Guard Reservist of the Year award. Lucas enjoys traveling, walking his dogs, and skate skiing.
